Music Inspired by The Road

According to Billboard.com, Coldplay's "Major Minus" took its inspiration from The Road.

We got one eye watching you
And one eye on what to do
So be careful who it is you're talking to

They got one eye watching you
One on what to do
So be careful what it is you're trying to do

And be careful when you're walking into view
Just be careful when you're walking into view

Ooh oooh oooh
Got one eye on the road and one on you
Ooh oooh oooh
Got one eye on the road and one on...

We got one eye watching you
And one eye what to do
So be careful cause' nothing they say is true

Don't believe a word
It's just us against the world
And we just gotta turn up to be heard

Hear those crocodiles ticking 'round the world
Hear those crocodiles ticking, they go ticking 'round the world

Ooh oooh oooh
Got one eye on the road and one on you
Ooh oooh oooh
Got one eye on the road and one on you

Ooh oooh oooh
Got one eye on the road and one on you
Ooh oooh oooh
Got one eye on the road and one on you

DICTION AND TONE

Diction and Tone

Tone Review Prezi: Please take NOTES

In the afternoon it started to snow again. They stood watching the pale gray flakes sift down out of the sullen murk. They trudged on. A frail slush forming over the dark surface of the road. The boy kept falling behind and he stopped and waited for him. Stay with me, he said.
